Beer reviews, chilli recipes and winnings

The last week or so has been really busy for me both at work and at home. The weather has been a mix of the good, the bad and the very bad, which has meant a little less gardening and walking and a little more blogging and jobs around the house.

I finally got round to moving all of my stuff from my parents house, so some of bank holiday weekend was spent up to my eyeballs in CDs and other stuff I had left there, I forgot just how many CD’s I own.

I’ve done a fair few new blog posts, both on Beer Reviews and Chilli Up North I forgot just how long it takes to write stuff up and i have a huge backlog but the ones i have published recently are:

The Thornbridge Bracia Stout was my fave beer by far, infact it is one of my top 10 beers of all time.

I also won 2 tickets to Go Ape, courtesy of @goapetribe on twitter, it’s somewhere i have wanted to go for ages so i will be booking up as soon as I have decided whether I want to go to the lake district or the dalby forest one.

It’s also not long until Emily’s birthday (a week on Saturday) followed by our holiday to Greece and then my birthday while we are away so I have a feeling September will come and go very quickly.

We have also decided to bring our Coast to Coast walk forward a year to next year so planning for that is underway, I will blog more on this later.
