#ourc2c day 11 ingleby cross to Blakey ridge
Today’s walk was the walk that took us well and truely into home territory. It started with the easy climb up to the transmitter station on top of the hill above osmotherly, from here we then met up with the Lyke wake walk route taking us over Carlton bank and then to lordstones cafe where we stopped for a cuppa or 3. From here we then followed the route alongside the rest of the hills, we go over the tops quite regularly so decided to save energy by using the paths below. Before long we were past clay bank top and up onto urra moor, the tracks were easy walking but by now the 24 miles from the day before and the miles already covered were catching up with our feet making it a rather long slog from bloworth crossing to the lion inn at Blakey ridge.
